The dream is now a reality: Following last weeks preseason tournament championship we kept the fire burning for our fist regular season match up against a smaller yet faster SF Aligse. the first couple points were a blur as it was my first match of this experience. I laced up battling butterflies, lots of them. But soon realized that the moment that I had been dreaming about for so long was here. It had come. I was warm and ready the match kicked of with some back and forth points a few errors on both sides of the net, then we started to come together as a team and turned up the heat. The match was won in three sets 25:17, 25:19, and 25:16. I’ll never forget the feelings I had when I was playing in this first match. What a blessing, what a gift, what an accomplishment to just to get here. But no time to be content, I have a long season ahead.
